Afghanistan's democracy (remember - the one we were fighting for?) is in the middle of a panic after women's groups around the world noticed they had legalised marital rape.Now you might be feeling grateful on the back of that to live in a progressive western culture where women have better rights. However meanwhile in the US the horrific story has unfolded of a woman who was raped at gunpoint and went to the police who instead charged her with making a false accusation and jailed her while she was pregnant. Well now the guy who raped her has confessed...
